Since achieving ISO 50001 certification in 2012, we have committed to improving continuously — specifically, to reducing energy consumption by 1.5% per kilogram of produced film each year.
ACTIONS
Actions (already implemented)
2008: Conversion of the cooling system to groundwater wells
annual savings of 4,000 MWh.
2013: Replacement of the cooling system at Site 1 with a high-efficiency, ammonia-based system (environmentally neutral refrigerant)
annual savings of 600 MWh
